    The Biocoiff styling spray is a remarkable innovative product for the hair. Its original 100% natural formulation offers a perfect hold equivalent to that of a traditional hairspray. Its application allows to fix a strand, a movement and eliminates the frizz and the small hair which escape from a bun. A few sprays will keep your blow-dry impeccable all day long without damaging the hair. 

     

    We have used elemi gum known for its fixing properties and have associated it with geranium which gives a delicate perfume to this organic and vegan hair spray. It can be used by the whole family and can be associated with other Biocoiff products products in a hair routine.

    The Story

    The gum of elemi comes from a tree of the Canarium luzonicum family. This species grows in South America, Manila and the Philippines. During the budding period, the trunk is cut and the white liquid that exudes is collected to be distilled and transformed into gum or essential oil.

    From the VIIe century in China, accounts report the use of elemi to perform religious rites and to make fumigations. It is commonly called "Chinese incense". In the 16eMagellan brought it back in his luggage and introduced it to Europe and the Middle East where it was quickly recognized for its fragrant and medicinal properties.

      I was looking for an organic spray, my shades are plant-based, which gives me a tousled effect. Too bad I can't find it at my hairdresser's BIOCOIFF

      why this very strong smell of geranium, there is surely another perfume to review, fortunately it fades.

      I'd been looking for a natural, organic "hairspray" for several years. I think I've tried everything... Organic is difficult and often disappointing. Biocoiff spray blew me away. It does exactly what it's supposed to, just like a real hairspray. There's just two points: because the bottle isn't pressurized (and that's normal), the spray can't spread easily through the hair. I've personally adapted a more diffused spray to reduce this problem a little, but it's still not easy. And that's the second point: as too much of the product is applied in places, the hair sticks. I even tried to distribute it with my hands... But the formula is great! I don't despair of getting the hang of it ;)
